Our 2 Year Anniversary

These past two years have been the best two years of my life. Since our very first date together, about three years ago, I knew I was going to marry Scott and waited patiently for six months for him to finally get the guts to propose to me. Ever since we met we have stuck to eachother like glue. It doesn't matter what it is we do it together, and neither of us can stand to be apart from eachother for more than just a few hours. Even after three years there is still the excitement, butterflies, and flirting everytime I see Scott! Life is never boring with him around. One of my good friends once said that she had never seen two people that loved eachother so much, and I honestly have to agree that I haven't either. We have had our struggles in life, but all the trials that come just bring us closer together instead of make us fight. I truly am blessed to have found someone that completes me so well; all the things I am terrible at he is amazing and the things he is terrible at I am pretty good.

This year was my year to plan our anniversary. I got Scott 14 different presents and as he opened them we would do whatever they were. For example his first present was a snow hat, so we went and played in the snow. His second was some hot chocolate. The entire day we were doing stuff and by the end we both were tired and could barely move, haha!

Scott's next present was a gift card to Taco Bell. I can now stand to eat there again.

The next present Scott opened was a little boy outfit, so we went to the doctor. Not very exciting, but the outfit was cute!

Scott's next present was a bag full of clothes!! He was really confused about where we were sleeping until I told him a hotel. But, once again I am not so bright and forgot where I reserved us a room so we drove around asking if they had a room for us and all I knew was that the hotel had a pool. You would not believe how many hotels have swimming pools! Eventually we called the right place and the guy made fun of me!

Scott's next present was a swimming suit!! The best part about the hotel was a hot tub and a swimming pool. We had a lot of fun playing in the pool.

After we got to the hotel Scott opened his next present, a gift card to "New Fongs" so we ordered take out and sat down in our bed to eat.

As we sat in the hotel room we played "Boggle" a word search game. I kicked Scott's butt!

After dinner and playing games we watched the movie I got Scott and ate a bunch of junk food, more like I ate a bunch of junk food and Scott made fun of me.

New Hair and 24 Weeks Pregnant!

I love my new hair!! I have decided that I hate having brown hair, it really just looks horrible on me and for the first time since I have been pregnant I don't feel ugly. As for being 24 weeks(exactly 5 1/2 months) it's awesome. I went to the doctor and everything is going just like it should. My uterus is 22 inches long! That is so huge, although I am 2 inches under what I am suppose to be. I am starting to feel pregnant too, I can still fit in my pants fine but putting on my snowboard boots makes me want to vomit cause my belly is in the way. I have tried to use that I am 5 1/2 months pregnant excuse but people just look at me weird cause I am still not big enough yet to complain, haha!

Graduation!!!

My amazing mom got Scott and I the coolest graduation gifts, a cherry crib and dresser/baby changer!! I was so excited that I couldn't stop smiling. She was going to give us money, but she figured we would spend it on boring bills and not really love it. I am so excited she didn't because Scott would't have let us spend it on anything fun. She was worried Scott wouldn't like it, but I think he was more excited than me, except for the fact that he won't let me take it out of the box. I love my family!

Scott's parents were unable to come to graduation so my parents were the replacements. They really are proud of Scott, afterall he is the first inlaw to graduate.

This is my favorite picture of Scott!! He is dang handsome...

Yesterday was one of the most exciting and fulfilling days of my life. Not only had I accomplished the one goal I have had since I was a little girl, but I got to graduate with my best friend. I don't think I ever dreamed of graduating with my husband, things like that just never seem to work out. However, we are both completly finished with school; no more classes, internships, tests, nothing, we really are finished! I really feel like I have done what I am suppose to and what every young adult should do, get a career. On Sunday, I taught Young Womens and my lesson just happened to be on striving to get a degree, and I felt like I could really teach the material because I had been through the entire process. I am blessed that I was able to get through my classes and challenges and get my degree in an area that I truly love and have a passion for. Even though I am pretty proud of myself, I am even happier for Scott. He truly is amazing and even graduated with above a 3.8 GPA, he's a lot smarter than me.
Alright, so as for the graduation I have a slightly embarrassing confession. Scott and I really wanted to walk together and so one of us would have to graduate with the other's major. I have a lot of really good friends in my major and I wanted to graduate with them and Scott claims he is friends with everyone in his major (he probably is) and he wanted to graduate with them. At last I convinced Scott to graduate with me and I made all the arrangements. Well, we went to the Kirkam auditorium and sat down and waited for graduation to start. I was really confused why I didn't recognize anyone and was beginning to wonder why none of my friends were walking. In the mean time, Scott was reading over his name card and pointed at where his major was graduating. I looked down at my name card and noticed a different building than the one we were in. "Crap, we are in the wrong building" and we both started laughing really hard. However, graduation had begun and there was no turning back. I am sure when they read our majors, health and construction, that we fit perfectly in with psychology and social work, haha! Well, it was alright we still graduated, got to walk together, and even got to wear our cool caps and get pictures.

Christmas Cooking

On Thursday I spent the entire day cooking for Christmas. I made over 500 cookies, for 41 different families, and I honestly don't ever want to do it again. By the end of the day my feet hurt like crazy. Scott helped me wrap up each plate and put the cookies on and the next day we drove all over delivering cookies. It was actually really fun, but I have four more plates to give away to my best friends! I saved them for last.

Christmas Decorating

Scott put up our Christmas lights outside. He got really creative with some of the lights, but I couldn't complain because I didn't help. Instead I sat inside the warm house and watched him slave away.

Last night Scott and I decided it was time to pull out the Christmas decorations and begin decorating. Our tree is really pathetic so we have to overload it with ornaments to cover up the empty spaces. I really don't know what to do about the bottom because it is like a two foot empty space. As for Scott I think he has ADHD because after like five minutes of decorating the tree he wondered off to put other Christmas decorations up and soon he was off doing something else. I don't think he finished any job completely, but he did dance the entire time to Christmas music as you can tell in one of these pictures (he's marching).

Pregnancy week 22

Wow!! I am finally 22 weeks (Five months) and I feel like I popped out overnight, I have a baby bump and I am so excited except for the fact that I am in the awkward stage of "is she fat or pregnant?" but give me a few more weeks and there will be no question about it. I can really tell I am pregnant when I lay down on my back and there is a huge buldge all in one little spot. Also, my stomach is getting pretty hard and in the morning he is right on top so it's really hard.
....and for the exciting news, I can finally feel little Lincoln move. Last night when Scott and I were reading our scriptures I could feel all this weird wiggling. Everytime I would read there would be lots of movement so I would stop and soon he would stop too. Either he likes the sound of my voice or it was really bothering him. Haha, it made us both laugh really hard. I am glad that I can finally feel him because I was freaking out that I hadn't felt him move yet. I was starting to think he takes after Leena and has narcolepsy and likes to sleep a lot.

Prengnancy week 21

Alright I have had a few requests for current pictures of my pregnant belly. Well this is me at 21 weeks, almost five months! I am starting to show a little through my clothes and I am really excited about it. So far pregnancy has been easy, all except for the bad cramps I have been getting a lot lately. I sleep good, don't feel sick, and eat a lot of food. My sister Eleena is having a boy a month after me and I am so excited that we are both having boys. It seems like everyone I know is having a boy. Like five of my really close friends are having boys, and Scott's cousin!

It's Still a Boy!

In case you were wondering we are still having a boy! My sister Denell had me pee on draino and according to it we were suppose to have a girl, but I am happy to say that draino is wrong and the doctor has officially two ultrasounds to prove our little boy is a boy. I guess that you really can't trust draino! Anyways, we were really excited to get our ultrasound and see our little boy again. He didn't move much at all and even when he did I still couldn't feel a dang thing, even at 21 weeks. I thought it was cool to see all the little video clips of him. They aren't very long but are still pretty cool. They checked everything and he seems to be perfectly normal, his heart is strong, his spine is good, and everything is good sized and growing. Although, he is only in the 11% for 21 weeks the doctor says he is healthy and having a small baby is perfectly fine. Good thing!
