baby and crime

Well not much has changed. Lincoln is doing well and continues to learn more each day. He still rolls over lots and can even sit up for a few seconds at a time. He also smiles non-stop and has even began giggling, really giggling. He loves licking things and is growing to be huge. He already fits in his 3-6month clothes because he is so tall, but his 0-3month shorts still fall off cause he is skinny. He gets excited everytime I come in the room. The other day I decided to take a bath with him and when he saw that I was getting in he started laughing, giggling and splashing. It was pretty cute. He has also had his first shower with daddy.

As for me I have picked up indexing(geneology) and avoiding the streets. What I mean by this is trying to stay away from scary people for several reasons.
#1 While heading up to my apartment a lady was screaming for help below and I didn't know what to do. Her boyfriend was beating the crap out of her. The cops came and took care of it. Her arm was broken and when I asked her how she was doing her boyfriend got mad at me.
#2 Below my stairs a man in a wheelchair was beat up and thrown out of his chair and dragged across the ground. There was a lot of blood and Scott thinks it was drug related.
#3 Saturday escaped convicts were seen by our complex
#4 FBI is searching our apartment complex and I don't know why
#5 My good friend saw ten black men beating a white guy with boards, she called 911 but I doubt they got there in time.
#6 Where we live is top in the nation for crime and rape.
#7 My other friend was being harrassed by several guys and they wouldn't leave and so the cops were called yet again.

rolling over again

I know that I brag a lot about my baby, but it is MY baby, so can you blame me? Anyways I finally caught Lincoln on camera rolling over. He has been rolling over since twelve says old, but I don't count it cause he didn't realize what he was doing. BUT he has started rolling over again lots and he knows it so I am counting it. So, on June 6, I caught it on camera the day before his 2nd month birthday.

I can't get the video up, but I will figure it out and post it later......

He is becoming quite the little stud, although I still get "what a pretty little girl", but hey if my little boy is that beautiful I guess I am alright with it. Scott is embarressed and doesn't want people thinking he is a girl. At church he was in his white Sunday outfit and he was drinking out of a bottle with a pink tip. Scott was freaking out, he kept saying, "he looks like a girl heather!" ha ha!

What have we been doing? well keeping busy, very busy. I can't stand being in the house for more than few hours. So after it is clean we are out and about.
Lincoln has been busy making friends. His best friend is little Crue who is 3 months older. Crue always grabs Lincoln and stares at him. Lincoln just rolls on him like he is a pillow.

We go to movies, walks, parties and everything else.

Lincoln is all smiles and giggles these past few weeks. It's really exciting when he gives us big grin and a squeek to go along with it.

Lincoln also had his first hair cut a seven weeks old. We cut 1/2-1 inch off the top, sides and back. He looks pretty scared and cried during it, so I had to finish it up the next day, and don't worry it's still REALLY long!!

As for me, I have been scrapbooking, cleaning, visiting museums, cemetarys, parks, swimming and hanging out down town. North Carolina has everything to do. I also have been running for the past 3 weeks and I am already up to 3 1/2 miles!!! I am falling in love with North Carolina more and more and I am going to miss it lots when we have to go back to boring old Rexburg.

Also: I LOVE APX!!!
Before choosing what company we would sell with, we met with other security company recruiters. In the end we chose APX, they are the third biggest company in the nation and so we trusted that they were good. Well, we are SO happy we chose them. They spoil us rotten. Every saturday they take us out to eat at a fancy restaurant and usually have big barbeques for everyone.
And....they took us to Myrtle Beach!!

We got to spend two nights on the beach in a hotel. Right off our balcony we could see the beautiful ocean.

We all got to go boating and spend an entire day on the beach

The best part was jetskiing in the ocean. Wow!! It was crazy, the waves were huge and we jumped really high.

That night they took us to the coolest restaurant ever..

It was all you can eat shrimp, crab, ribs, steak, and anything and everything you could dream of.

It was really neat eating there with all the cool artwork. I was so excited I was giggling.

Scott was giggling cause he loves seafood

Scott also won a shopping spree from APX!!! YAY! We get to go to Walmart and run through the store with a shopping cart and try to fill it up before the clock runs out. How fun is that!
