Valentines Day

This year was lots of fun on Valentines Day. Because it was on Sunday we decided to make the best of it without going out. I woke up early Sunday morning to the wonderful smell of eggs and bacon cooking. Next thing I know Scott is tossing 50 foam hearts all over the bed, on me and every direction they could possibly fall. He then preceded to serve me a delicious breakfast in bed. As we ate, snuggled together, I read what was written on the hearts. Each had a reason of why he loved me. Examples: Always keep the house spotless, make me dinner and take care of me, sexy stomach, cute bubble butt, and the list goes on and on :) He then gave me my present: a much needed bra.

Well for Scott I compiled a poem and wrote parts of it on hearts and put them in places around the house. I won’t write the poem here, it’s really cheesy and contains a lot of inside jokes. He found the hearts on his presents: a box of cereal, a soccer ball, a roll of toilet paper, skittles, and the movie “RV”. Each object had something we laugh about.

Lincoln got lots of balls for his Valentines present! Grandma and Grandpa Roberts sent him money so we bought him a basketball. The other basketball is his cousin’s Ryker. He got four balls for this special day. The reason being, we discovered Lincoln is a little basketball player. I let him play with a ball about 2-3 weeks ago and he went nuts. Throwing it everywhere and chasing it. He tries to dribble and plays catch and throw really good for being just 10 months old.  8.5-10months 06910-11months 029

During the day, we went to church and then played outside!

That night we we had steak and tatter tots for dinner. Along with cupcakes, chocolates, pink lemonade, some fancy drink and watched a movie.

This is Lincoln at the table ready to eat. I went with a pink theme.

Honestly just spending the day with Scott was the perfect Valentines present.

Aawwww, how cute Valentine's Day! I especially love your pretty pink table, and the picture of Lincoln where he looks like a crazy man with his basketball. What a little stud! Haha! I am so happy you are so happy! Love you all!

Hey, thanks for your note on my blog. You are sweet, and I do miss you too, and consider you a best friend, even though I am horrible at keeping up, gotta work on that. Love you blog, even if I get really jealous that you have a "sexy stomach" after having a baby. I'm holding out for the lazer stretch mark remover when I'm done with kids. Hey, at least the baby weight is more then gone right? I guess I can't have it all. BTW, Lincoln has the same PJ's as Jack, love them. Aren't little boys so much fun?
