This is my blog where I write about my sweet little family! I am a mormon, stay-at-home mom and definitely have my fair share of blonde moments.
This is me blonde----->
I love writing and write constantly for fun, especially on this blog. I try to keep my writing light and happy. Taking pictures, reading, decorating and online scrapbooking are also some of my favorite hobbies. Hiking, playing on the beach, biking, running and swimming are almost always in our weekly agenda. I love to have fun with my little family and we live a fairly active life. One day we might start snowboarding again and we really hope to buy a boat here soon. It is next on our "to buy" list.
As for background information: I was born in Logan, Utah. I grew up in a small town in eastern Idaho with two older brothers, two older sisters, one younger brother, great parents (married now for 39 years), lots of birds and a dog or two. My dad was an artist through my younger years and was always carving a chunk of wood into some beautiful bird (why we always had birds and also why I am terrified of birds). My mom was a secretary at a dental office and was where I landed my first real job as a secretary/dental. We lived in the country and playing outside was what we did, the T.V was hardly ever on. My sister Eleena and I were really close; we played barbies, house and occasionally she gave me makeovers or forced me to marry my cousin. My younger brother was my best friend and I taught him everything about how to treat a girl and he taught me everything about how to play with cars and legoes. My older three siblings were always old enough that I wanted to be just like them and went to for advice or someone to talk to. In high school, I played the piano, the violin and fell in love with running during x-country and track. I graduated with high honors and a scholarship to college. I went off to college (two miles away from my house) to BYU-Idaho where I met my sweetheart (2006). I graduated in Health Education with a minor in English education in 2008 and walked with my husband. I had my first boy in April 2009 and immediately moved to North Carolina for five months before returning back to Idaho, where we lived until this last April(2012) when we moved to Seattle, Washington where we will probably be spending the rest of our lives.
Currently, I stay at home with my two boys. Being a mom is the best and I try to do one fun thing with my boys every day. This can be as simple as going for a walk, painting a picture or swimming in our pool. We try to keep it fun and try to post about our random adventures! Well that is me! To learn more random stuff just read my blog!
