Alright, so I was talking to one of my good friends the other day and I realized I don't really say what is going on in my life, I mainly talk about Lincoln because he is my life. Well anyways here is our update on life.
Scott got a great job about a month ago at Fastenal. I know I had never heard of it either and it is seriously is like right by my house! He is the outside sales man and it pays salary and thankfully pays our bills. So far he enjoys it and gets to work with his best friend who helped him get the job. The best part is that we no longer have to sell our house and we will be living in Rexburg for proabably.....well...maybe forever!
As for me I have been staying VERY busy. Besides battleing the flu this week I have stayed rather busy. Yes Lincoln, cleaning, and making dinner keeps me somewhat busy, but I have managed to add a few more chores to my life. I babysit my nephew Cohen 4 days a week about 8-9 hrs a day. He is a really good baby and keeps Lincoln from becoming even more spoiled. I also teach Piano on Saturday and have really enjoyed it. So if you know anyone who wants to learn let me know. I also have been scrapbooking a lot. I really want to get Lincoln's first year done for his first birthday. 2 months down and 10 to go! I have been organizing my house and going to start painting some of the rooms....again, haha! And of course reading, my goal is to read 100 books this year and I have already read 6.
Lincoln is doing the same! He still can't walk yet but is great at walking across furniture. He has been watching "Signing Time" and I work hard teaching him the signs, so I hope he catches on here soon. I really want to become fluent in ASL so I have checked out a few extra books from the library to help me. Oh and did I mention he is off the bottle!!! Yes 9 months and off. Really exciting huh? Oh except for the fact that he is on the sippy cup. I just don't understand the difference between the two and I don't think he does either. Lame!

25 days of Christmas
Alright so here are 25 things we did throughout December. We love Christmas and make the most of every moment.
1 Decorate the house
2. Put up the Christmas tree
3. Go to a Christmas tree. I had to sing a song with the Young Women and I must say we did an excellent job.
6. Christmas Pictures
7. Write letters to Santa
8. Make gingerbread houses. This was sooo much fun. My mom and sister spent all day cooking to get them ready. I bought the candy and we were ready to go. All the grandchildren got to make a house. Of course Lincoln can’t so I made it and Scott played with Lincoln.
9. Shopping and picking out what we want. A little bit of dream shopping we call it.
10. Wrap presents
11. Play miniature golf
12. Go Bowling
13. Play on the blow up toys
14. Celebrate Our Anniversary. We went to a movie and out for dinner. We didn’t do a whole lot but it was fun to have a night out. We have been married a wonderful 3 years. I love Scott soooo much! and I believe he feels the same for me.
15. Hang out with the Roberts’ family
16. Play games and win prizes!
17. Get an ornament for the year. I got Lincoln an ornament for his first Christmas. When I was looking this was the one Lincoln liked to chew on the most. So it became his first ever ornament.
18. Open Christmas Eve Pajamas. Sad thing is, Lincoln got sick Christmas eve and threw up all over himself, Grandma, Scott, the carpet, the furniture and anything else in the way. So he got to open two Christmas Eve Pajamas!
Opening Second present in the diaper!
19. Christmas DAY!!! YEA! I was so excited to open presents. I was even more excited to see what Lincoln was going to get. Since we spent Christmas as Great Grandma Roberts’ he got extra spoiled by his grandmas and of course us. I think my favorite present was the “Hunger Games” book series. I highly recommend it.
This is all Lincolns pile! We could barely fit it in the car! I don’t really know what was so funny, but they were laughing really hard.
21. Play with toys. Lincoln got three of these things. Yes, you heard me right, three!
22. Hanging out with the Jones’
All 8 grandkids (and number 9 will be here Monday) Is it just me or does Lexi look like she just might kill someone, and I am not even talking about the gun in her hand. Haha!
23. Christmas with the Jones’
24. Alright I am out of stuff and bored so MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
