Reading that positive sign was one of the memorable moments of my life. I had peed on stick every month for about four months and wasn’t expecting it to be positive this time around. But it was! I literally began jumping up and down and giggling like a 13 year old! I immediately called Scott and he was shocked but never the less happy.
We went out to celebrate at our favorite Mexican restaurant. It was surreal to think their was a tiny miniscule baby inside me. I don’t believe I fully grasped the concept of pregnancy at this point.
I was Student Teaching 7th grade when I found out I was pregnant. It was tiring to teach such exciting kids when I was in such a tired state. I never really got sick. I did throw up a few times, but I remember feeling sooo tired those first 12 weeks.
Ready for school:
11 weeks: I went in for my first checkup and to see how far a long I was. I don’t know what I was expecting to see on the ultrasound, but I didn’t think my baby would look like a real baby. I think I pictured a gummy bear.
This baby looked like a baby. However alien he might have looked there was no mistaking that there was a human being with a wonderful spirit jumping around in there. He is swimming out of the picture. You can see his cute little legs.
Here is his head and body. He never stopped moving. He was doing front flips and back flips and was really enjoying all the space in there while he still could. We found out he was a boy at this appointment.
12 Weeks: Feeling great! I decided to start taking pictures at 12 weeks because that is when you start to show.
Scott wanted his picture taken too :)
14 weeks pregnant! This is the point where I felt absolutely wonderful. I was no longer tired. I never felt nauseous, I just felt extremely blessed to be pregnant and not be puking.
16 weeks pregnant. I looked in the mirror to write it, so that should explain the backwards 6 :)
17weeks! (I look so much better with makeup on)
18 weeks
19 weeks 21 Weeks and another doctors appointment! You can definitely tell I am pregnant when you look at my bare belly.
Our little Lincoln
25 weeks pregnant ( I really need to wear makeup)
26 weeks pregnant and popping out! People started asking me if I was pregnant.
32 weeks: at this point I started getting bored with pregnancy. I mean I really enjoyed it and kept a positive attitude, but I was totally okay if my baby came 8 weeks early. Horrible, I know.
33 weeks pregnant. Yes I am jumping on a trampoline and yes it is perfectly fine for the baby.
34 weeks!
36 weeks! Wahoo! I got checked to see how dilated I was and I was 2cm. I was so excited to have my baby a few weeks early!
38 weeks and lots of parties and fun before the baby comes!
39 weeks: This was the night before I went in to have my baby.
I went in to have my water broken at exactly 39 weeks!
