First Day of Christmas and Traditions!

I am completely against doing anything for Christmas until December first. My main reason is I love the anticipation of waiting to do stuff. We do the 25 days of Christmas! We did last year and it’s a tradition we want to continue with our Lincoln.

For the first day we make a countdown Christmas Garland. On each chain is what we are going to do for everyday of December.

Lincoln was a big slobbery helper. He knows just how to make the paper wet and gross so mom doesn’t want to touch it.

It’s hanging from the ceiling! We made an extra chain just for fun. I’m so excited for everything we get to do! I LOVE CHRISTMAS!

Traditions!

Another tradition we do every day before Christmas to help us remember the true meaning of Christmas is read both a Christmas story and a story of Christ’s life from the Bible.

Tonight we read “Curious George’s Christmas”

and we read Matthew Chapter 9: 1-9
