Our Trip to Idaho

We went to Idaho last week and it was wonderful! The weather was sunny every single day(except a random snow day) and it was great to be wearing t-shirts, shorts and see blue skies. I never thought going to Idaho would be a break from the cold, but it was. I really missed seeing the sun!

When we got there, Lincoln was so excited! Once we were inside he made himself at home and went downstairs to tell his uncle kay, “hey guys I am home!”. I think he thought we were staying here forever and we had just been visiting Washington. Whenever I mentioned leaving he would start crying and say, “this is Linky’s house”. Made me happy that he still loves my parents, but then again they are pretty easy to love.

Dying eggs

I boiled over 50 eggs and everyone thought I was crazy, but Lincoln dyed at least 15 himself. They went fast!

Easter Morning

The Easter bunny brought Lincoln an awesome monster truck, lots of fun candy, pictures of Jesus and a CTR ring.IMG_8711 IMG_8712 Morning Easter Egg Hunt

Another Easter egg hunt

Lincoln is a champ when it comes to egg hunts. He knew that you had to run fast if you were going to get any eggs and his very full basket made me proud.IMG_8779 IMG_8780 IMG_8755 IMG_8758 IMG_8759 IMG_8760 IMG_8766 IMG_8767 IMG_8770 IMG_8772 IMG_8777 IMG_8778

Then there was the adult Easter egg hunt. I never take pictures of it because I am too busy gathering eggs. After all they have prizes and money! I did terrible at finding eggs, but we still managed to get most of the money. We got $120! I guess I can no longer complain about not winning money!

Happy Birthday Lincoln!

We celebrated Lincoln’s birthday on Saturday! When he got up I made him his favorite breakfast, chocolate-chip banana pancakes.

Then the entire family went bowling IMG_8601 IMG_8607 IMG_8610 IMG_8618 IMG_8649

We did a simple party. Basic balloons and I let Lincoln pick out the cake he wanted me to make. My sister Denell and Scott helped out a lot with it.

IMG_8677 IMG_8680 IMG_8681 Lincoln LOVED his cake!IMG_8684 IMG_8691blowing out the candleIMG_8695Present time; Lincoln loves all toys and is really easy to make happy. His favorite present this year was a transformers lego set from my mom and dad. My mom is really good at knowing what to get him. We got him airplanes, monster trucks, a craft, puzzles, clothes and a motorcycle. I told Scott we aren’t getting him any more trucks or cars because he has so many that any new ones, he never plays with. He also got a game from my sister, which it perfect because he is really into games lately.

IMG_8698 IMG_8699 IMG_8700 When were all sitting around, Lincoln started licking his cake. It isn’t like him to make messes, so it made me laugh pretty hard. Someone already at the tires, windows and fin.

Lincoln’s favorite part was playing with his cousins. Grandparents are awesome, but they are just old(sorry mom and dad) and Lincoln wanted to play with his “friends” the entire time.IMG_8787 IMG_8788 IMG_8797 His newest cousin Carson Lee Iverson:IMG_8800 He was so tiny and sweet. It made me excited for my little boy to come.IMG_8801 Lincoln’s best friend Coco:

Lincoln cried when we told him we had to go home. He doesn’t have any cousins in Washington and it breaks my heart!

I already am missing my family! My parents are coming when I have the baby to help out with Lincoln and it won’t  come soon enough! Three months away!

I don’t know when we will go back, but I am already planning a trip in September or October!
