Our kids have recently started new sports. We try to encourage them to always try new things, and to our great surprise they both have found their niche in life.
Lincoln has been teaching himself how to skim-board and surf. All it really takes is a piece of his bed, some music and a blanket or two.
Paddling out:
Doing Tricks (the black pillow is daddy’s surfboard and I am sitting on my surfboard, which is also a pillow)
He is a natural
“Mavo’s turn mom!”
“Mom, please don’t make me do this”
“Maverick! You need to paddle faster!”
“Lets get eleven blankets”
Surfing wasn’t Maverick’s thing so he took up Kung-Foo
